Having the ice rink outside Vienna's Town Hall all to yourself or how about timing yourself racing down the “Streif” one of the most challenging ski - tracks in Kitzbühel? This winter we will fulfil some very personal winter dreams.

To get up on a cold, crisp January morning in Bad Gastein, with the Sun just about to shine out of a clear, blue sky, and ski from the top of the mountain in fresh, powdery snow to the little glass-sided cafe halfway down the slope where they serve tall, china mugs filled with thick, piping hot chocolate topped with cream. Once I had finished the drink, I would step outside, breath-in the smell of the damp, pine trees all around, and ski down and do it again.

My Winter dream would be, a wonderful white christmas with all my family!! A log cabin big enough for the nine of us and bump, and Santa would come down the Chimney (;-)) with a great big thump! Inside a roaring fire and slightly dimmed lights, outside all of natures finest sights! My holidays have been far and few oh thank you for making there be a chance of this dream coming true!

Austria is the holiday of my dreams, I'm going to be greedy! I want to stay in the Hotel Imperial then see Vienna by Fiaker. I'd love a private tour of Schonbrunn, then a sleigh ride around the grounds. I want to see Don Giovanni performed at the Burgtheater, then have coffee at Hawelka. I want to eat the best Dobostorte there is. I want to watch the magnificent horses at the Winter Riding School. Then I'd like a week in a mountain chalet. I want to do this with my family, it would be a dream!

A chill in the air, but the warm surroundings fill your heart with a glow. The warm Gluhwein travels through your body, as you walk hand in hand lost in the romance of the city. These memories, so fresh in my mind, but happened so long ago. Austria is where i began my future with my husband, where our dreams were made, the perfect place to begin our married life. My dream would be to relive those perfect moments, skiing together down the crisp white mountains, showing our son where it all began.

I am sitting outside the lodge at the base of the Tiefenbach Gletscher with my mates, enjoying beers and Jägermeister chasers. The sun is on our face, the warm food on the table in front of us. The love we share for each other and for snowboarding is almost palpable. We give our girlfriends a squeeze and propose a toast to us. After licking our lips we lean back in our chairs, smug in the knowledge that we have another four days of perfect weather ahead of us.

Our guide leads us over the ridge to reveal miles of untouched powder stretching down to a small ancient town. Each turn throws up clouds of light, dry snow into the dark blue sky. After an exhausting day discovering silent untouched routes, we head to a traditional Austrian restaurant with an open fire and the best Wiener Schnitzel known to man.
